LightPath Kids is the project's children's direction. Children's activities need short instructions, understandable actions and adult support. Begin with the age, setting and one manageable goal rather than the amount of material.
Match the action to the group
Younger children can show, find, choose or retell a short episode. Older children can compare and explain. These are educational guidelines, not an official platform age classification. In a mixed group, provide an accessible answer for everyone and an additional question for those ready for it.
A sample activity about helping
Tell a short story in which a character notices another person's difficulty. Ask children to identify the moment when help is needed. Offer two safe actions and invite them to explain a choice. Finish with an everyday example. Avoid requiring public disclosure of personal family problems.
The adult's role
An adult checks the material, explains unfamiliar words and supports group rules. Alternate listening, movement and answers while watching for tiredness. If using a phone, agree on who holds it and when children view the screen. For walks, separately define supervision and movement boundaries.
Prepare and reflect
Open the selected Kids material and test the necessary actions before the meeting: this developing direction may change or contain errors. Have an appropriate backup activity. Finish by asking each child to name one idea or demonstrate a chosen action. Review what they understood and shorten instructions that proved too long.
