LightPath considers outdoor missions, indoor activities and formats that can be used in different places. Choose according to whether participants need a specific physical object to answer a task.

Outdoor exploration

This suits urban environments, heritage and natural objects. A suggested task is to compare two public spaces and explain which features make one more comfortable. Check crossings, weather, access and connectivity. Questions should encourage observing the surroundings without distracting people from safe movement.

Activities indoors

A room is useful for stories, objects and group discussion. For example, participants can arrange event cards in sequence and explain their reasoning. Consider hearing, lighting, seating and movement between tasks. Multiple activity stations may help a large group; this is a proposed organisation method, not a promise of a built-in interface mode.

Activities anywhere

A portable task makes sense when the idea does not depend on coordinates: create an example, compare solutions or discuss a character's decision. People can explore the same topic in different settings. Check access to material, connectivity and language separately.

Choosing and adapting

If an answer depends on observing a particular object, use a route. If objects and shared conversation matter, a room may be better. If the central idea is independent of an address, consider a portable activity. Finish each format by asking what participants noticed, how they explain it and where they could apply it.
